
Erin Chandler has been a member of the Screen Actors Guild since 1999. She is the author of Bluegrass Sons, A True Crime Memoir, June Bug Versus Hurricane and Cinderella Sweeping Up, a Collection of Essays. With two decades of experience in Los Angeles in the entertainment industry, she produced and starred in Lost in the Pershing Point Hotel with Leslie Jordan, *Winner Best Script, Los Angeles Film Festival/ Best Film, New York Independent Film Festival. As an actress her credits include, Ted K, The Net, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Chicago Hope and Dead Husbands with John Ritter.
As a playwright in Los Angeles, she produced rock opera, Orpheus: A Season in Hell and her original play June Bug Versus Hurricane among many others. Erin served on the board of the Kentucky Women’s Writers from 2010-2012. A writer in Residence Weymouth Center, Southern Pines, NC from 2015- 2018, Erin received her MA in Theatre from the University of Kentucky in 2012 and MFA in Creative non-fiction from Spalding University in 2017. Erin currently teaches memoir, screenwriting and playwrighting privately and for the Carnegie Center in Lexington, Kentucky while writing and producing the upcoming docu-series Bluegrass Sons, A True Crime Documentary with the Media Working Group.
